The research goal is to introduse a new method of orthodontic microimplant installation into the modern stomatology. The method of orthodontic microimplant installation provides high accuracy, custom-tailored installation and improved work environment for a dentist. The study focuses on the point that orthodontic microimplant installation, involves radiography, according to the radiographic studies selection of space, direction and depth. Radiography is carried out by computer tomogrphy. The scientific research gives close attention to the process of microimplant installation. The conductor with metric bar, made of disposable material, horizontal bar and plug is placed into the patient’s oral cavity. All the parameters of size and weight have been preliminary defined by the computer tomography. The metric bar is installed close to the tooth adjasent to the planned orthodontic microimplant installation spot and fixed in vertical position by light liquid composite polymer material. One end of the horizontal bar is fixed in the plug to set the plug at the orthodontic microimplant installation place by attaching free end of horizontal bar to the vertical metric bar by light liquid composite polymer material. Its spot and direction have been defined by computer tomography. All conductor parts are connected and fixated by transparent quick-hardening dense silicone mass, and orthodontic microimplant is installed through the plug, the conductor is removed after installation. The conductor for orthodontic microimplant installation includes horizontal element with a tube at one end, which can be positioned over the microimplant installation place. The conductor resembles metric bar, the horizontal element is a bar with plug at one end, which can be firmly positioned on the element, while the free end of the bar can be flexed in any direction against the other end and freely moved along the metric bar with further fixation on it. All the described elements are made of disposable material. The described method has been widely used in Russia. It is one of key issues of present-day dental orthodontics.
